New York-based British artist Killy Kilford has created limited edition prints which correspond to an installation commissioned by Soho Grand Hotel to bring positive messaging to guests and visitors alike. Entitled #HonkLessLoveMore, the freestanding geometric installation is composed of ten authentic NYC street sign posts supporting eighty custom made, government standard aluminum Happy Street Signs™. The fire red and deep ultramarine blue signs contain four distinct words that first appeared in late 2013 as part of Kilford’s unofficial public installation of 200 Happy Street Signs™ throughout New York City.
By repeating positive messages via Happy Street Signs™ in cities around the world, Kilford believes we can inspire a more connected, happier society.
